Pailhac P2V

The Villages in the Aure and Louron valleys of Pyrénées2vallées / P2V

Escape on horseback

The smallest village in the valley in terms of area, situated at an altitude of 770 metres. In 1687, the village was completely destroyed by fire, except for the church, which is located away from the village.

From the village, you can overlook the town of Arreau, and there are several walks and horse rides. The equestrian centre "Les Sabots de l'Estos" is open every summer to allow you to escape and discover the mountain environment.

The parish church of St. Stephen is of Romanesque origin, as indicated by the Chrism and the door, protected by a porch. A small church facing north, with a single nave and a bell tower.
