Stay in Sobrarbe

During your stay in Sobrarbe, embrace the Northaraguan culture, its fabulous landscapes and its many sporting and cultural activities throughout the year. Wherever you go, taste the local Aragonese specialities: lamb, longaniza and chireta, a variation of the Scottish haggis made from seasoned lamb offal. Don't miss the festivals and events organised all over the Sobrarbe region throughout the year: traditional Bielsa carnival, certified of national tourist interest, Falleta (torchlight descent) in the Gistain valley, traditional Aínsa fair (Ferieta) celebrated since the 12th century, rafting (navatas) on the Cinca river... everything is synonymous with authenticity. Visit Aínsa, an iconic village in Aragon. Also discover the great Lake Mediano and its emerged bell tower, a sad witness of a recent past. Hopefully, every two years in early September, you will attend the Morisma in Aínsa. This popular show with a warm atmosphere is a reconstruction of the Christian king's victory over the Muslims in the 8th century, where the actors are the village's own inhabitants! Summer and winter, there are so many experiences to live in Sobrarbe!
