The Villages in the Aure and Louron valleys of Pyrénées2vallées / P2V

The king of the balcony

The village is located along a secondary road and is composed of 2 hamlets where a church strategically occupies a privileged position in the area called "le Pouy".
Facing east, it dominates the two villages of St Lary and Vignec and offers tourists an unobstructed view of the entire valley and the surrounding peaks. The sun shines almost all year round. In September, we invite you to the "fête de la batère": demonstration of threshing with old machines.

The Chapel of Our Lady of Pity was built in 1654 after the plague epidemic that ravaged the region. It is oriented to the north, with a single nave and a bell tower on the main gable.

The church of Saint-Missolin, of Romanesque type, has preserved the semi-circular apse and the tympanum-chrism.
